Set your teaching week once
Publish your weekly availability, choose which lesson lengths you teach — 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes — and decide what each one costs in credits. When your week changes, Availy tells you which already-booked lessons the change would strand instead of quietly dropping them.
Students and parents book their own slots
Every student gets their own login, and guardians get one too. They pick a slot from your live availability and spend prepaid credits to book it, so there is no public link to police and no back-and-forth over text. You set the credit rates and can choose whether credits expire.
Build the graded curriculum once, reuse it forever
Save a learning plan as a template — the goals and practice tasks for a grade, a syllabus level, or your own method book sequence — then start the next student on that same curriculum in one step. Adjust from there for the student in front of you.
Practice homework rides along with the reminder
Any open homework on a student's learning plan is listed in their lesson reminder email, so the week's practice arrives in the same message as the lesson time. Email and SMS reminders are both included, and each channel is opt-in per person.
Parents can actually see the progress
Goals move from not started to in progress to achieved, and families see that in their own portal — they can add goals and check off homework themselves. Teaching notes you mark private stay staff-only and are never shown to the family.
Recital and exam season without a spreadsheet
Add extra availability for the run-up, run a theory class or masterclass as a single group booking with its own roster of students, and keep every lesson in view. Connect your Google Calendar and lessons land in it automatically while your existing commitments block the slots students can book. Every user, families included, also gets a personal calendar feed to subscribe to from Google, Apple or Outlook, and each booking email carries a calendar invite.

- Can I teach 30, 45 and 60-minute lessons to different students?
- Yes. Availy supports 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120-minute lessons, and you choose which of those your studio offers and what each one costs in credits. A beginner on 30 minutes and an exam student on 60 can book from the same availability.
- Can parents see what their child is meant to practise?
- Yes. Guardians get their own Availy login, and each student's learning plan — the long-term goals and the practice tasks that build to them — is visible to the family, who can add goals and check off homework themselves. Any open homework is also listed in the lesson reminder email, and notes you mark private stay staff-only.
- Can I reuse the same graded curriculum for every student?
- Yes. Save any learning plan as a reusable template, then apply it to a new student in one step so everyone at the same grade starts from the same set of goals and practice tasks. You can edit each student's copy afterwards without touching the template.
- Can I import my existing student list in one go?
- No. Availy has no CSV or bulk student importer today — you add students in the app or invite them by email, and each student sets up their own account. For a large studio that is real setup work, so it is usually easier to switch between terms rather than mid-term.
