Billing questions
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no credit card is required to sign up, so you can set up your studio, add your availability and take a real booking before you decide.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. There are no long-term contracts — you can cancel your plan whenever you like from your account settings. Your subscription simply stops at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then.
- Does Availy take a cut of the payments my students make?
- No. When you turn on online payments, students and parents pay their invoices by card through Stripe straight into your own connected Stripe account. Availy takes no cut beyond Stripe's standard processing fee, which is typically 2.9% plus 30 cents per charge. You can also collect payment another way and just track balances in Availy.
- Can I start on Individual and move to Studio later?
- Yes. You can change your plan at any time from Organization then Subscription inside the app. The Individual plan covers one instructor; move to Studio when you are ready to add more instructors, staff accounts and your own branded subdomain.
- Is there a limit on how many students I can have?
- No. Both plans include unlimited students. The difference between them is the number of instructors, the number of calendars, file storage, and the studio branding and staff features on the Studio plan.
